چکیده
Abstract Background Egyptian water buffalo as a dairy animal is adapted to the environmental conditions in Egypt and most of it with small farmers, therefore, was necessary pay attention improve its nutrition, increase milk production, components by adding some feedstuffs high nutritional value Moringa oleifera which rapidly growing plant that planted tropical subtropical area, addition leaves have nutritive value, contains anti-oxidative bioactive compounds, low anti-nutrient content amount magnesium, has positive effects on yield. Results The results revealed that, daily or 4% FCM yields significantly ( P < 0.05) highest for diet supplemented 50 g olifera powder (MOLP, R2) compared other groups. By increasing MOLP supplementation level there significant decrease yield than control. Milk contents protein, fat total solids were increased, but lactose solid not decreased control level. values dietary nutrients digestibility (TDN DCP%) recorded R2 lowest R4. Blood serum albumin globulin higher feeding diets particularly R3. While, urea, glucose cholesterol creatinine, AST ALT gradually increased Rations associated obvious antioxidant enzymes (GR, GPx, Cat SOD) free radicals effect more pronounced Conclusions These indicated milking buffaloes improved yield, composition, digestibility, capacity.

In vivo radioprotective effect of Moringa oleifera leaves.
Radioprotective property of Moringa oleifera leaves was investigated in healthy adult Swiss albino mice. Animals were injected (ip) with 150 mg/kg body weight of 50% methanolic extract (ME) of M. oleifera leaves, as a single dose, or in 5 daily fractions of 30 mg/kg each, and exposed to whole body gamma irradiation (RT, 4 Gy) 1 hr later. Five animals from each group were sacrificed at 1, 2 and ...

Three fractions from the leaves of Moringa oleifera were obtained on Sephadex G-25 column chromatography. Single bands of these fractions were detected on Polyacrylamide SDS gel electrophoresis. An antibacterial action of small protein/peptide was tested against E. coli Kl. aerogenes, KI. pneumoniae, S. aureus, and B. subtilis. Fraction P1, P2 and P3 showed strong inhibitory activity against E....
